The boot I've seen a couple of people on this site with automatics get this little boot that makes it look like a standard stick shift, how do they do that? |
buy shift boot and put it on.. |
order the shift boot kit from www.hondawerx.com for $35 shipped. and if you want, buy a new shift knob. i ordered me the boot, but keepin the stock knob |
I did that and kept the stock knob. I had an aftermarket knob for awhile but it was uncomfortable to rest my hand on while driving. the stock knob is pretty sleek IMO. it's tricky trying to put on the boot with the stock shifter. you won't be able to screw down the shift boot plate on the console, not that it really matters anyway. it won't come off unless you pry it off. |

you'll probably need to email him an inquiry. be sure to include the year of your civic, since the interiors are different. or you can IM him at HondaWerx |
