Springs

if you get springs installed do you need to get a alignement?

it is wise to get a camber kit and then alignment. without a camber kit your wheels will still be angled even after a alignment and will wear away one side of your tire

Slam it, your car is not even properly alligned from the factory. Once you put the springs on, you will never be able to keep it in line. It's a sacrafice, look good handle good = bad ride. Tires are a replacement part, slam it and drive the hell out of it. And whatever you do don't waste your time or money with the camber kit.

if you lower your car get a camber kit(which is a must) then get it aligned!

that's what i just said. even though i never got a camber kit but i'm paying the price. plus there is a good chance you will blow a strut or 2. so eventually you will need to get some Koni's.

I drove my car without allignment for 1 year after I got my 2" drop........Never pulled........

you dont have to get it alignment or camber kit but might cause u probs with tire wear though so replacing tires more often

When I lowered my car 2" I got the camber kit anyways but was told by the shop that the camber (after the car was lowered 2") was still within factory specs. So I know atleast that if you don't go more than 2" lower you won't NEED the camber kit but you might still want it if ya don't like your rear wheels leaning in significantly. Anytime you replace suspension parts you'll need an alignment, eventhough sometimes it won't necessarily FEEL like you need it. Hope that helped

yup someone posted their alignment spec sheet after dropping their car with sportlines and everything was in spec, even the camber. so no alignment or camber kit for me...
