I LoVE that knob. I've been wanting it for a few weeks now, but I haven't had $100 to spend on a new shift knob. That's as low as I've seen it so far .. PLEASE post pics as soon as you get 'em, I'd love to see how that looks

I think it looks good.

mastercave 06-22-2002 07:33 PM

Does it feel comfortable? I ain't trying to flame on it but it looks a lot bigger than the stock and it's so chrome compared to the razo official pics. If you're gonna make your car all futuristic looking, then I guess it looks good....but nice shift knob!!

haha flaming? don't worry about it. everyone has their own opinions about the knob so it's all good. ok so first of all, the size isn't really that much of a difference. you should realize that this picture is a one-side view. it's actually just slightly thinner and a bit oval than the stock knob.

this knob comes in two styles. Chrome and Silver. And YES i have the chrome and sometimes wish i had the silver instead but it was a birthday present so what can i say! for those HYBRID owners, you might REALLY CRAVY THIS ONE! cuz the hybrid has a chrome trim on theirs.

but beware. you are buying this at your own risk. the installation is exptremely difficult, it's not one of those plug-and-play type, because the "plug" part needs minimal amount of calculation in order for you to change gears. i have a little horror story about this because when the i was installing this thing, putting it on and all that was easy. i was able to shift from P to D2 with no problem.

UNTIL..

i park my car and turn the car off. but i CAN'T GET MY KEYS OUT!! if you were going to work or somethin, you would be jacked. but it's a good thing at least it happened at home because i could somehow do something about it.

i hate to go too technical but it took me and a friend 7-8 hours to pull this off precisely perfect without the key being stuck again.

i've had this knob for 5 months. no problems so far, and i doubt there ever will. there was no mechanical mod/conflict involved in this so it was okay.

and by the way, this knob WASN'T MEANT FOR HONDA.
