APC Tailights

I just bought a pair of APC euro tailights for my 2002 2dr ex coupe today. Theres a big gap on the top downward sloping edge where it meets the body. Anybody else have this problem? Im takin em back ne way cause they got water spots on them and theres a crack in one of them. Obviosly someone else already had them on their ride. (maybe it didnt fit theirs either?) I cant belive I got sold used crap that is supposed to be new.

This is like that with about 70% of the aftermarket tailights out there. They won't always fit perfectly. Mine don't. They are the APC chrome Altezza's. Also, this topic has been discussed many times. Will probably be locked so just thought I'd let you know B 4. :)

My APC CF Altezzas fit great, work great, don't leak, and I just love them.

Owned APC crap clear corners on my old 88 civic and they just fell apart after a year so I had to buy another set so they even were bad back then. When I bought my all clear tailllights for my 88 from matrix they were good but one always leaked. So I just said forget it I am keepin OEM this time around forget messing with that again. But yeah most of the aftermarket stuff you get won't fit, sometimes you may get lucky

EDIT: What honda told me LOL "Yeah the guy at honda I talked with him and he was all yeah APC crap is better because they now take the extra time to check there lights for leaks thats why they take longer what a line of BS I was all right dude im out can't beat the OEM"

APC isn't necessarily crap. You get that with almost any aftermarket brand.... I say almost. Anyway, who/where did you buy them from? You think they are used, so why did you buy them? I don't get it. Did you order them online or something? My taillights, which I've had since the beginning of time don't fit all that great either. Most of the taillights out there do that, and you always, always seal them with silicone, no matter what. I checked my tails for gaps, and I didn't seal them when I didn't see any gaps. I washed my car, and next thing I knew... fogging time! So anyways, mine are now sealed and dry... and they don't fill up the spaces perfectly. So there's nothing wrong with your taillights..... just letting ya know.
