HKS vs GReddy Is there much difference between the GReddy Evo cat back and the HKS Hiper Exhaust rear section.... I mean in power gains??? i know one is full cat back but the difference is like $190......... |
power gains will be just about the same. the Hiper looks better IMO |
How does the HKS unit installed, is it bolted on or welded??? |
i have to agree that the HKS looks better in appearance, but not sure on gains from both exhaust. i would think the greddy would have more gains since its a full catback. and to answer civicmexicano's question..yes, HKS is a bolt on rear section. |
James from product planning at HKS said that the tip of the Hiper exhaust is 130mm!! Tell me this is a typo!! Does anyone know for a fact? Cause on their product page it says that the only two sizes are 96mm or 98mm ( i forget which), and 120mm. I ordered my rear section from them a couple of days ago, but im not sure if i can deal with that big of a tip. thats over 4 inches!! Someone give me good news Peace~ |
Just go to the link below (Speedoptions) It has the hiper cat-back prototype pictures of the exhaust on the 2001 Civic. Chances are the tip will be the same size. here |
gains will be similar on any cat back--- just go with whatever you think looks/sounds best.. |
how does each one sound? PeArLhOnDa |
gawd that HKS muffler looks like the apexi N1 turbo... |
Has HKS Dynoed that prototype civic yet???? |
