AEMs new plug & play EMS

I was reading the july issue of Import Tuner and i wwas reading up on the new AEM plu ang play they make it for our cars but it is said to be pretty expensive I was wondering if anyone has seen it or read about it yet. If so what are ur opinions on it. It is suppose to completely replace ur stock ecu. the only catch with it is that you would have to get it tuned on a dyno preferably by pros. It is suppose to be able to reconfigure ur fuel to air ur spark curve, also it says something like datalogging i guess that lets u know what ur engine is doing. It looks cool. this might help with HP for our cars.

It's really only for engies that have been worked on alot, I.E. new internals, swaps, forced induction and so on....

Looks nice and all...but it's 16 hundred dollars...
And basically wha Phill said, not really for 16 second Civics.

i don't think it's street legal either

Well, from what I hear, there's a street and a race version. The street version IS street legal. It allows you to set up things like Timing, fuel curve, ignition, and things like VTEC engagement (where applicable), etc...

Basically, its a far superior version of the V-AFC (which is obsolete if you have the EMC).

It can also control forced induction and other properties. You can either tune it yourself or pick a pre-programmed file and load it in. I actually say it's worth the $$$ if you wanna go all out. For now though, i'll stick with a V-AFC...
