theft-- it sucks. my konig toxxins will be coming in on friday. I ordered wheel locks, but will this be enough? I know that nothing can stop theft, only deter. Are wheel locks enough to deter? I thought about an alarm system, but what does everyone do when they hear an alarm? "Jesus Chirst, someone shut that thing off!!" I live in a low crime area, but I drive to philly everyday for work, and to the bars and clubs on weekends. What is the best way? Sorry for the simple questions, I'm new at this game. sometimes if you're too worried about theft, just don't bother buying it then aftermarket wheel locks are a good idea, not the one's from the dealer but the one's that are shaped different from regular nuts |
ok, THIS kinda defeats the purpose of buying wheel locks |
and if you're really worried, get 2 sets of lock nuts |
Well, I can see my car from the window in my cubicle (yes a window in a cubicle). And if I'm real worried, i guess i can sit there all day and watch it with my .270 and high powered scope. just kidding. that thing on ebay sux. OyD, what do you mean by two sets? |
Most people will have 1 set of lock nuts on their rims. I use 2 different sets. The set that I had from before and the set that I bought with my rims. If anything it at least gives me peace of mind |
you could always get lowjack, but if someone really wants your car, nothin will work jus how it is |
well i have a friend that has a set of four different locks for his rims.....someone tried to steal his rims one night but they couldnt so they just slashed his tire....hope this helps!!! |
This should keep ppl. from stealing your rims!!! |
And its cheaper then lock kit too |
what are the best lock kits? |
