About K&N Filter

Hello guys:

Where can I find a K&N Filter for my 2001 Civic ex?

SurrealCivic 06-10-2002 10:48 AM

i don't think there is one out yet.

they don't make one yet! But, you're not putting your intake in a truck or eagle talon haha so go with AEM... quality

AFlyer 06-10-2002 11:27 AM

i believe that AEM uses k&n filters, so you would be well advised to get an AEM SRI if you want a high flow filter. or get a cold air intake if you want more power :)

You could buy almost any SRI or CAI and then buy the K&N of the right inside diameter to fit. K&N makes several different size filters for those applications.

if they do make them, you can go to like autozone or something. Maybe they can special order or something

all aem cai and sri, come with k&n filters. so you should be able to go to a local performance shop and get one.

i think hes talking about the replacment filter that u put in your airbox?

CapYoda 06-10-2002 06:01 PM

actually I dont think AEM comes with K&N filters anymore. but they are of the same material... I think construction is a bit different, AEM's have 4 layer, while K&N has multiple (more than 4, I believe)

how would you go about cleaning the filter?
