Over here by where i live in San Bernardino CA, SleeperMotorSports customized turbo's for anycar. My friend and i were thinkin on getting turbo's for our cars, my 2k1 vic exand his 2k1 celica gt and we got a price estimate and it was 3,200 bucks with turbo, pipping, greddy blow--off valve, greddy intercooler, greddy turbo timer etc, i know this may be the next big step for our 2k1>>>>>

whoa, looks like your on to something good here. gotta keep us updtated on this one.

civicpimpin01 06-07-2002 02:50 PM

People in Cali have it so lucky. I need to make a road trip with some of my cash.

LOWBOY 06-07-2002 03:01 PM

Iwouldnt hold your breath on the $3200. Customized turbos (especialy for new cars) are probably the most expensive kind you can buy because they have to manufacture all of the pipes and pluming.

DaPipeLayer 06-07-2002 03:03 PM

I'm just wondering, but if they really have the parts, does that price include labor?

bobbyd 06-07-2002 04:15 PM

There is a place here in Michigan said they can do them on my car for 4 grand...not worth it to me.

CivicMexicano 06-07-2002 04:26 PM

DOes it include labor??? What about internals??? Gains???? so many quesions???

01civicboi 06-07-2002 04:36 PM

great, another of those "custom turbo" threads :susp:

LeroyBrown 06-07-2002 05:07 PM

if that's including labor, you are getting a STEAL!.. go, do it now, don't wait, just go...

o0aznbboy0o 06-07-2002 05:11 PM

heh i wish arizona would do things like that
its so boring here
and theres not a lotta import car place around where i am
so...pretty much sucks
the only real good one is beat streets and i havent gone there yet...

ASWZero 06-07-2002 05:40 PM

you just have to have the money and determination to find a good place.

yeah we might be lucky...but living in calil...i really doubt the turbo will be streat legal...

RedDragon333 06-07-2002 09:18 PM

This whole customize a turbo is starting to annoy me...one because the big names need to take a step in this direction and two because no one here in Tx will do this for me

crimsonfever 06-07-2002 10:50 PM

yeah, and not to mention how people (by people, I mean the turbo builders) are saying that we're going to be limited to about 6-8psi resulting in a maximum gain of 60-70hp or so.... and all that for well over $3000 US.... <sarcasm> wow, what a deal </sarcasm> it's called, go on the bottle, or be prepared to spend major money for equivalent power increases....

Red Dragon, Try Hocus Pocus off of little york on the Northside of Houston.

ricerocket 06-09-2002 02:06 PM

no way can it be done for that kinda money...if u are gettin a t3/t4 turbo those run cheapest 1k and the greddy fmic is also 1k, greddy bov $200, turbo timer $100, exhaust man, fuel pump, water pump, o2 housing and sensor, boost gauge a/f ratio gauge (the most common ones), boost controler (depends is u want to spend $50 for a manual or $400 for a digital) u would want a 3' cat (N1 will run u round $800 with dp and hi flow cat) then comes custom pipes...a lot of hackin will be involved trust me so i doubt that is including labor..well unless u get used parts...not worth it...

Voiceofid 06-09-2002 02:26 PM

gude :-p

VROOM 06-10-2002 10:25 PM

have patience, grasshopper. wait for the kits to come out. in the mean time, save up some cash so when the do come out, you'll be one of the 1st to get one.

papi2001civic 06-12-2002 09:12 AM

if it works let me know... i would be willing to take a trip to cali for a turbo
