Which type of projector's do you have? I have TYC's and they came with all the bulbs.

Midknightz 06-06-2002 05:11 PM

You will need to get an amber bulb #7443 for your turn signals

HippyCivicEX012 06-06-2002 05:26 PM

nice, thanks i wasnt sure of the numbers either

icey 06-06-2002 06:20 PM

well, you will be able to tell if they need bulbs by looking at the back of them. I'm pretty sure TYC projectors come with all the bulbs, so you dont need to buy any. Not sure about other brands though...

HippyCivicEX012 06-06-2002 09:11 PM

I was also wondering if i could use my existing bulbs

Ricerman 06-06-2002 09:53 PM

no you can not use the original bulbs, plus tyc comes with bulbs

HippyCivicEX012 06-06-2002 10:50 PM

ok, i also didnt really look at them yet i got all my stuff sitting in my room i just need the time to get it on

RSXtypeIvtec 06-06-2002 10:56 PM

almost all brands come with bulbs
except for the turn and parking lights
use 7443 for turn signal
196/168 for parking
H3 for headlights

I was thinking about getting some projectors but i was wondering, how hard is it to install them? Is it something I can do in my driveway or is it something better to get some1 to install them?

Saj 06-07-2002 12:01 AM

h3 bulbs dont fit man. I have got h3's and the electrical component works but the bulb is to big to fit in the housing. Somebody suggested getting h1

RSXtypeIvtec 06-07-2002 12:11 AM

well i just know they come with H3's
unless your talkin about the fourth light...i dont know what its called but its got that bubbly thing over it next to the headlight
that might use a H1..i dont know

yes its something you can install in your garage, check out the DIY link to Clearing Headlights, same thing but easier, a little

Midknightz 06-07-2002 12:12 PM

yea, with the proper tools i can pop my bumper off and have both headlights changed out within 15 minutes.
