I was wondering if your company was designing a turbo
for the 7th generation Civic.

If so, please let me know.

Thank You.

Yes it will be out in the FALL 2002

every company keeps claiming to be in the works of one and then changning their minds. Right now the only thing I've got my money on is that one that recently came out from some small custom company (I cant remember the name).

tamazoid 05-27-2002 11:25 PM

it'll be nice to have turbo!

tamazoid 05-27-2002 11:26 PM

also, i wonder how much it would be when one comes out!

iamboo 05-27-2002 11:38 PM

i would wanna make my internals stronger before getting the turbo kit.... bigger cylinders... bigger injectors... just my opinion..

Pedrito 05-28-2002 12:03 AM

turbos are a lot of maintenace and work....some of my teamates have them but i would really like to have a jackson racing supercharger...that would be phat to have!! the whining of those things are bad @$$!

Booohahaha 05-28-2002 12:49 AM

considering that we drive on the local streets alot the SC is much more in my taste now but i rather have TURBO if its available. for the money i spend on the SC a turbo can be upgrade for higher boost!

civicpimpin01 05-28-2002 08:12 AM

That'll be tight.

how about everyone one email them and asking if they are making a turbo for our car. i remember reading an article in honda tuning that comptech got so many request for a S/C for the V6 accord that they decided to make one. so everyone email them.

you'll get more power out of a turbo, better times (at least on our small engines)

but a sc would be so nice... spank anything off the line

JSWhaler 05-28-2002 11:16 PM

ya there's already a turbo out for our car for $3200 or somthin, a lot of companies have decided NOT to make em cause they think it's not worth the hassel.

i emailed them and got the same response

Yes we will have a kit for that car by the Fall of 2002. I don't have any specifics on the boost levels and power yet... Check back around the end of summer...

That Jesse guy is getting famous around here on several turbo threads. There's another thread around here where a guy says he has or can make adapters to make some turbo fit our engines. I think if you don't go over 7 PSI boost, no need for doing internal engine mods because the saftey gate will open up before you reach the really dangerous pressures.
