Which sidemarkers are the best?

I have sidemarkers already but the ones I have are cheap. They are the type that you just drill a hole and screw it in. What are some high quality ones? Please post links to sites that sell them and pics if possible. Maybe the ones that are on the uk civic coupe would be nice but where can I get those?

Thanks

hmmm... i tend to disagree with you. APC products look nice, feel nice, smell niceand maybe even taste nice... but they are CRAP. I wouldn't reccomend you buy anything APC, unless you dont give a ... about your car.

the sidemarkers look really cool to put on, but one question

I think there is a flaw in putting sidemarkers

you'll have to cut into the sheet metal right?

is there some type of sealant you can put on the car? because the edges of the sheet metal
will be exposed to the air and humidity....causing RUST......

so everyone knows that rust ends up spreading.....

is that rite? or am I just going crazy?

People use touch up paint around the edges of where you drill and cut so it won't rust. It also hold the sidemarker in place better.

one reason i don't get side markers

the side markers i got on are air tight.... like your headlights, so no rust.

I think the best ones are the ones that come on the new beetle. they are led and light up really bright. they have 7 leds inside the side marker. plus, they fit flush with the body and do not stick out. i have attached a picture of them.

Exbauer... I agree. Where can I pick those up? VW Parts & Service?

2Hondaz 05-27-2002 08:24 PM

Are those JDM side markers hyperwhite or just white, amber, what? I need a set of hyperwhite sidemarkers that mount flush.....

Exbauer 05-27-2002 09:47 PM

If you go to vw parts and service they will charge out the wazoo for them. They wanted $80 for the pair. I ordered mine from AUTO BODY PARTS ONLINE. They are $40 for theh pair + shipping. They are more than the other, but they do not compare to these.
