Can anyone post the type of tints out there or post website where I can look? I saw this 2001 civ sedan with what I think to be the tightest window tint I have seen. It mirror looking but the tint was black. It had a small amount of reflection and it looked relly clean. I ment to sk the girl but I didn't get a chance to see her leave. Anybody know what tint I am talking about? |
are u talking about the ones that are mirror at the bottom and black on top or the other way around |
yes I think that is what he is talking about. The girl next door has that on her focus. I don't know what it is called but I can ask her when I see her again. |
I think you're talking about Platinum tint. It appears mirrored when light reflects directly off of it, but it is in fact black. That's what I'm getting on my sedan. Gonna run me $275 (including $60 ticket insurance that insures that the company will replace it for free if I get a fix ticket.:tup |
Well if your risking getting a ticket than there is no point in getting it. |
I don't know of a site you can look at tint, but here is a site that will tell you what is illegal and what isn't in your state. Link |
I have that tint. I have Llumar platinum plus 35%. It looks really tight. It ran me $153. |
The risk involved in getting your tint removed is like the state of Virginia. I hear that most states, if you are out of state, it really doesn't matter. But some states like VA, will pull your over and give youa ticket for it and say get it removed. So, just look into the state laws. |
Thanks for the replys. I almost forgot I posted this thread. I going to ask a local tint shop to see if the kind you guys are suggesting is actually the tint I am looking for. I will also check to see if it is legal or not |
