I have no idea. I think mine were defective since I put them on. But remember they have lifetime warranty.

bhayes82 05-21-2002 10:53 PM

uhhh... it might have something to do with LOWERING YOUR CAR...

OUTLAW 05-21-2002 11:18 PM

Dont really know, however, KONI is a reputable company and with the warranty there should be no problems....

mattymatt 05-21-2002 11:51 PM

I think it's because people who have them put them on
the firm settings and that's fine if your on smooth road
but if your not it can cause problems.

TOOLOWCIVIC 05-22-2002 08:21 AM

You can put it on firm if your on the track since the track has not potholes or any bumps. Just don't put it on firm if your going to be driving everyday.

What setting are you guys/gals putting your Koni shocks at?

I had mine at 360 degrees (from softest) front and 450 degrees in the rear and the ride was to firm/bouncy. I've taken the front down to 180 degrees and need to bring the rear down but it's a pain to adjust so I'll probably get around to it this weekend.

pmau 05-22-2002 06:21 PM

UMMM... I believe 360 is the firmest. So I don't know how you got it to 450. BTW, setting it on it's firmest can damage your suspension unless you're driving on some smooth roads.
