ground control, ... friend , it uses the nice Eibach Springs that everyone loves. as for shocks, not many on the market for our cars, but Koni yellows seem to work very nice.

i was looking in the parts directory for koni yellows and i found where it said (Comments: This is for a set of four.....)
and the price was only like $137 that is a mistake right. i am going to be buying coilovers and everyone has said that i will blow the shocks very soon if i do. so i was going to go ahead and find a good set of replacements. There is no way that i wouold have ever thought that koni yellows were only 137.please respond, and please tell me that the parts directory is right

hmmm... are you guys sure you want to buy coil overs? I thought that they were better until i read an article at an audi board. Now I'm thinking of just getting some lowering springs.

you're probably right, what exactly is the advantage of coilovers over springs besides adjustability? Here in Cali, i don't think i have much use for adjusting height.

I know of several people who own 2002 coupes and have GCs... do you just need to buy a special part to make them fit?

in cali if you have springs and get a ticket for dropped car then you'll have to bring it to the shop and put back stock springs on which will cost you around 20 bucks each side, but with coil overs you can just adjust the height and bring to car to show CHP and sign you off...easy...
