I'm tired Hiya, Ive done like 10 shops and ask a lot of people and did search and I never got exactly the anwser I want: Do I REALLY need a camber kit? I'll buy Neuspeed Race Springs (2.2'' / 2.0''). I know I'll get a camber but will it be too much or okay to ride without a camber kit? Tell me what will be the difference with a camber kit ( in milles or kilometers) for exemple. ANd what you folks did ( if you have a +2 drop). Thanks a lot |
I dropped 1.3......my shop said I'll be fine....but it was close.......1.3-1.5 you should be fine....... but 2.0.......well thats def. pushing it...just get the camber kit. save yourself lots of money on the tires. So I must buy one or my tires will be finish in like 1 month? |
Your tires will last more than a month but YES, you do need a camber kit. with that low of a drop its worth the $$$ to get it done. I have 1.3" and it is not bad, I am going to go without the camber kit!:) |
yah yu'r supposed to have camber kit but that is for like if you dont want the struts to go out, and irregular tire wear but if its only 2 inches, it wil take years forstruts to go out in my experience |
dude you'll be fine just get some nice shocks eventually like a couple of months down the road and you'll be fine |
I've seen tires totally ruined in less than 1000 miles from bad alignment. The first thing you need to do is have that checked, then if you need the kit, get one. You just can't say one way or another without checking alignment and that's much cheaper than new tires. |
At TireRack.com they sell the Rear Eiback Camber kit for 147$$.. is that for the 2 wheels or only 1 ? |
That price is for both wheels |
