CAMBER KITS AND ALGINMENT
 

I JUST LOWERD MY CAR AN INCH AND A HALF AND THE STIRRING FEELS THE SAME DO I NEED THE CAMBER KIT OR CAN I JUST GET THE ALIGNMENT KIT?[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

it is not a must, but highly reccomended, an alignment is DEF reccomended, but i would put the camber kits in first, incase adjustments need to be made.....

you don't necessarily need Camber Kits when you drrop by 1.5... you should be fine..:tup::tup:

Ya, u should get a rear camber kit, it will save you money in the long run, I reccomend the SPC rear camber kit, best one out there, I can get you a deal on them, and BTW, they are way better than an ingalls

full billet steel, fully adjustable, has the abs bracket, easy adjustment, and overall built better.

What kind of deal can you get on them? I would want both front & rear kits.

I called SPC and was told the front/rear kit for our car (2001 Civic) would be product # 60090. This would consist of a pair of 81260 arms for the front and a pair of 67230 easy arms for the rear. The kit will provide a 1 1/2 - 3 degree adjustment. The only info I couldn't get was whether the SPC uses rubber or polyurethane bushings.

Well, guys, I can get them to you for about $225-230 shipped. The front camber alignment is more or less just bolts, i dunno how they work, i don't have a front camber kit, but my camber isn't off. anyways, that price is for front and rear, but I assure you that these are the highest quality

Hey man, you truely get what you pay for, these are the best camber kits out there for our cars, trust me, way better than the ingalls, but remember that is for both, plus the shipping. so that is actually a really good price

I emailed the shop doing the group buy and he actually suggested that I go with the Ingalls kit instead (he is selling both around the same price) because it offers more front adjustment.

Is this group buy still going on?

Yes, same shop is doing both Ingalls & SPC. Both front & rear Ingalls will be $200 shipped. The only adjustment difference between the two is that the front Ingalls kit can do up to 2 degrees while the SPC front kit can adjust up to 1.75 degrees. Surely that .25 degree difference isn't something to be concerened about is it? Still waiting to hear if the SPC uses polyurethane bushings which I'm not sure I want because they squeak and have to be consistently greased.

What do you fellas think?

Will this camber kit work on the 2002 civic EX 5 speed? I am in need of one, I have a two inch drop. Help..........:eek:

What do you think about the 1.75 degree limitation of the SPC frnot camber kit over the Ingalls 2 degree adjustment capability? Is that anything to really worry about? How much are you guys having to adjust your camber kits?

unless if your going 3-4 inches i dont think the .25" difference is going to matter. i heard that the camber is only off by like .3 degrees in the front with neuspeed sports.
