for those who have sportlines
 

is it really necessary to have koni's and camber kits? Its a little lower than the pro kit but I want something a bit lower. How is alignment for stock? does it eat the tires? just wonderin.

Well after going to get my car aligned, yes i will need a camber kit for sure!!! like asap pretty much, but i still have the stock shocks and no problems! so its all good except for the camber kit hehe, but its worth the money for the springs

HMMMMMM...going to have to disagree.....I've had my Sportlines for over a year now...and noe camber problems....ride or otherwise.....I rotate my tire every 3000 miles to assure even tire wear.......but my camber was within tolerances after intallation...so I don't know why the differences other than installers

Differences could be Original alignment..(maybe your was towards the other end of being within specs).. there's usally a 1.5 degree leeway for rear camber.. like between .5and 2 degrees for example. Maybe your was .5 to begin with and his was 1.8 or somethin [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]..that could be it. as far as the OEM struts blowing. with a 1.5: drop they should wear out quicker than normally, but shouldn';t actually "bloe" Unless you hit a Huge pothole and bottom in out hard (which is easier to do with OEM springs). Also our cars have oil shocks which when lowered wear quicker than gas shocks. But blown seals shouldn't happen. A few members here blew the trusts with OEM springs and tires.. so those that blew then with lowering is probably coincidence (well unless you dropped the car like 2" then it's not hard to blow them).

My struts blew with only a 1.5 inch drop:tdown: If they don't blow it will ride very bouncy:tdown:

No Clue..haven't done an alignment in 3 years lol.. Older civics it was

-.75 to -2 degrees to be in spec..

Front 0 degrees plus or minus .5 degrees

Rear -1 degree plus or minus .5 degrees.

And with Sportlines, my car was off over a degree both in the front and rear.

Don't think I needed the camber kits but I got them just in case.
