would you install ...?

a red AEM CAI in your blue cars.

I have an eternal blue si and may have gotten a really killer price on a red one. Should I pay a bit more to get a blue or silver?

Basically, would the red one look misplaced?

thanks

i think it depends on what color scheme you want to do to the car. If you want to go blue and red, then it will be fine. but if you have a blue car, with a red cai, yellow gauge faces, a green valve color, etc. that will look like , my opinion though. later

I saw a red one that was an awesome deal at import stylz in toronto. Is that the one you got? You could always go get it powdercoated.

I'm not planning on having other painted parts on my car, everything will stay stock, exept things under the hood etc... My car is blue with the oem kit, spoiler and fogs.

How much would it cost to have it powdercoated? is it worth it (pretty much the 75$ I might save)?

any more comment?

I tried to look in the member pages to look at their photos, but couldn't find any blue one with red CAI.

It's your car man, you decide! If it were mine, I'd just powdercoat it to a color of my choice. You could always sand it down too, dunno how that'd look though.

If it doesn't look right, just don't open your hood in public. Nobody will know.
