sKwiD 04-14-2002 01:39 AM

Its just you and me man...lol...i responded to your response...that sounds funny... yeah i bought them today cuz i think other people are tired of hearing about neuspeed sports and springs and stuff... good luck to ya:tup:

netcbc 04-14-2002 06:50 PM

Yeah no one wants to respond!! Common its not a newbie question just want to see what it looks like on different rides and dont' expect me to go through 5000 ppl's pages to look for em!!

brodie_rider 04-14-2002 07:18 PM

I have neuspeed sports on my sedan, but not in the member ride section. I'll email them to you if you want.

LilCivicKidd 04-14-2002 07:41 PM

netbc, i read some where on here today about the rear being lower then the front...does that do that with your springs?

netcbc 04-14-2002 08:15 PM

are u sure that neuspeed sports is lower at the back, i heard h&r makes the back lower after it settles but neuspeed should be ok

01IncaPearl 04-14-2002 09:06 PM

I have neuspeed sport and they dont sag in the back at all. Check out my pics in members rides.

netcbc 04-14-2002 09:48 PM

Thanks inca, thats the knid of answer i was looking for

01IncaPearl 04-15-2002 12:19 AM

<< Thanks inca, thats the knid of answer i was looking for >>

no problem, and as far as how the ride is, I would say you will not be dissapointed* with the sport springs. You get a good look and a good ride.

Importz 04-15-2002 12:35 AM

I've got them also, but I dont think they are low enough!
Check it out (members rides):susp:

JoOLeESaUr 04-15-2002 12:40 AM

i dont think they're low enough either...actually, they look low enough in the front end, but the back end is still too high..there's still a slight gap. if you look from the front of my car, it looks really dropped, but if you look from the rear, it looks like any other stock civic

01IncaPearl 04-15-2002 01:26 AM

They are designed to give you car that kind of look. The front is suppose to be lower and the rear is a little higher looking. Take a close look at the wheel gap and you will see that they are just about equal from front to back. If you go any lower then the neuspeed sports then you are going to sacrafice to much ride quality and beleive me I have been there and done that and it was not worth it at all.

netcbc 04-15-2002 02:38 AM

AS for not being low enough, thats true, but i'm an everyday driver so neuspeed sport is what i want!! just want some pics!!

netcbc 04-15-2002 06:13 PM

pogi2k1ex 04-17-2002 10:05 AM

i gottem too:tup:

it is slightly higher in the back....i like it better that way, instead of the drop being even all around....when you put a box or luggage in the trunk it evens up....i got pics let me know if you want to see them

netcbc 04-17-2002 03:37 PM

sweet, looking good nuc, hey pogi, i wouldn't mind seeing pics, could you send them to netcbc@rogers.com

netcbc 04-18-2002 12:26 AM

so did these settle for ppl?

01IncaPearl 04-18-2002 02:09 AM

They didnt really settle all that much, maybe 1/4 of an inch or so but that is all.

TEKNIQ 04-18-2002 03:49 AM

Buddy has Neuspeeedz not a big enough drop for me. Got me some Progress 2" , 17z, & 205 40'z. Perfect fill and no noticeable ride difference.

netcbc 04-19-2002 01:57 AM

sweet

netcbc 04-20-2002 03:38 AM

how the ride on bumpy roads compared to stock?

01IncaPearl 04-20-2002 01:41 PM

<< how the ride on bumpy roads compared to stock? >>

Are you talking about neuspeed or the other ones.

netcbc 04-20-2002 03:14 PM

neuspeed

Mapes 04-20-2002 05:53 PM

importz: did you get the back springs cut? my shop recomeneded that 2 coils be cut from the back springs....it also stated in the box that they could be cut to get the even look instead of the lower front higher back stance...so w/ the cuts my rear has no gap......no pics....havent got around to it yet...

out....

netcbc 04-21-2002 02:11 PM

cut the springs? u mean the neuspeed ones

Linger 04-21-2002 02:47 PM

If you guys wanted neuspeed parts you should have baught a VW.

netcbc 04-21-2002 11:23 PM

Well I heard neuspeed sports were good so far, but what about on bumpy roads?

01IncaPearl 04-22-2002 02:32 AM

They handle fine on bumpy roads but you will notice that the stock shocks dont do so well on bumpy roads.

netcbc 04-22-2002 04:04 AM

so would you say ride quality with neuspeed sports are equal , same or better?

01IncaPearl 04-22-2002 10:52 AM

<< so would you say ride quality with neuspeed sports are equal , same or better? >>

Better than stock. Im not sure about other springs out there though.

netcbc 04-22-2002 06:20 PM
