Which coilovers are better?

Which coilovers are better guys? I am in the market and i just wanted an opinion on which ones you all think are the best coilovers to get. I heard that Skunk2 or Ground Control were the better choices. But, if you have an opinion on a different one i would like to know. thanks.:)

Well Do a search.....

But I will be going for either a Neuspeed Kit...or the Ground Controls with some Koni Yellows...

Stay away from those OBX Kits....Waste of time and money.....Spend a few more bucks and get the Ground Controls
I work @ a Honda Dealership and we tried the OBX.....CRAP!!!! We took them out and put Ground Controls in....No slapping noise with them
trust me .....spend the few extra bucks:tup:

i was looking through the parts section adn i saw that we do not have full coilovers for our cars.
is that true? i dont want to deal with getting coilovers and then something like the konis too. want everything over with in one try.

get grond controls they come with eibach springs
skunk2's i heard were bouncy as hell
and ground controls only cost like $30 bucks more unless u get the hook ups
thats my opinion

UPRIZEN 04-11-2002 02:13 AM

Ground Controls all the way for best handling. Had skunk2's on my 88 civic ,mo bounce to da ounce.

I think you"ll be happier with ground control.but its really up to you on what ones you wanna go with, and i think they are around the same price.so its really up to you. good luck

Tien is working on a SuperStreet coilover system for 2k1 Civics. They are 16 way adjustable not 5 like most and come with everything.
 Tien also has a in dash system that alows you to adjust your suspension from inside the car for only like $300.
SS Coilovers are like $1200 unless you get a hook up!

i got the skunk2 coilovers and they arent that bouncy they are bouncy though the handling is great though no regrets. the thing is the backs are all the way down and they sit as high as the fronts and the front still have about and 1 1/2 to go didnt cut off the purch yet doing it soon.

yea i got my skunk2's today i dropped it alll the way it could go slammed dat biotch and the rear is a little higher how wud i go on fixing that problem what more would i spend my money on

LilCivicKidd 04-16-2002 07:28 AM

the rear is always higher...your just droping it the same on both ends....try like 4 in the rear and 3 in the front (if you can even do that, I'm not sure never had coilovers so I don't kno...just seemed logical) or add something hugh to your trunk.
