Good coilovers?

I am looking for some good coilovers for around $180-$200 range. Anyone have any good advice on which ones to get? I'm not really sure on which one is better than the other. Maybe even some springs? Any advice will be good.

If u know roughly how much a drop you want and will not change the height, then go with springs.
I prefer springs cuz the ride is much smoother than coilovers. Eibach sportline or neuspeed sport are the good/popular ones out there.

coilovers = full shock assembly w/ adjustable spring perch

adjustable springs = adjustable springs (Ground Control, etc.)

Well, I guess what I'm looking for is adjustable springs. I'm not sure how much I want to drop it, any good adjustable springs for around $200?

also bear in mind that with coilovers, you are gonna have to drive much more careful than with springs.
WHY? because when you compress your coils to drop your car, lets say 2 inches, it also compresses your stock shocks, therefore giving them less give.

meaning they are gonna be pretty rough, if you hit a big pot hole or something too fast..your gonna blow a shock much easier than if you had springs.

if you do get coils...try not to drop it too much till you can get some aftermarket shocks/struts...and drive very carefully!!!

myself id reccomend the eibach sportlines

good luck

are these any good?

EDIT: Also, how much are the Eibachs and how much of a drop are they? Whats the cost on Ground Control and Skunk2?

If your looking to get coil overs for about $200 your not going to be able to get ground control or skunk2.The ground contols are about $350-370 shipped to you house and the skunk2 are around the same price. If your going to choose any pf these two go with the ground control. If you wanna check them out go to ground-control.com and for the skunk2 there on nopi.com,but also dont for get your gonna wanna get a set of shocks(takico or koni). well good luck and let me know if you need any help
