Exhaust ... ? Hey Guys A buddy of mine has a connection with a Shop and well I can get an Exhaust pretty cheap... But heres my problem. I dont like Loud Exhausts or anything so is there any affter market Exhausts That make Noo sound like Stock But increase performance and have good looks ??? If so please give me names or better pictures of it too =) Oh ya this is for a Sedan. Thanx ! |
i don't think you can find a set that would give you more performance without the sound... a good choice is the magnaflow catback system... i haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but there are video's with it. do a search for "magnaflow sound" oh yeah and anything you would buy from ebay.... like the imitation apex n1 mufflers are going to to be SUPER loud, just a lil side note :), those are usually made in taiwan. |
MagnaFlow huh Hmmm just did a search on it ya the sound seems pretty nice I might go with that But sumtimes I let my mom use the car thats the problem I dont want her driving it with a Loud exhaust =) You know what I mean ? |
i ussually like the Greddy SP. I find those really quiet yet high performance. i kinda doubt that Greddy would ever release the Trust SP exhuast for our 7th gen.. so maybe i will go custom 3inch cat with the Trust SP from the 6th gen civic fitted onto our cars. |
the Magnaflow is a real quiet exhaust....since it is catbackand it increases the pipe diameter while using mandrel bends, this will give you a very slight hp increase while satisfying your need for a quiet exhaust with good looks and performance...this is without an intake of course.... on the other hand you could get an axle back system from HP racing, Mozart, OBX, or ractive and get a slight increase in sound( not loud at all because resonator is still on) with very little hp gains( just good looks ) these are also mandrel bent , the plus side of the axle back is that you can go back to stock later if you sell the car( all you need to do is bolt the factory axle back section on....) Much easier to take off than cat-back |
I second that, MagnaFlow=QUIET! ... Greddy=LOUD .... I know it's personal, but i think the sound of the exhaust is one of the most important parts! |
i have the magnaflow on right now...but im taking it off and replacing it with a thermal system... the magnaflow is very very quiet, yet i feel a nice increase in hp, however its just not loud enough im getting the thermal R&D cat back system...its a bit louder but supposed to give more pull.. either of these would be great... |
If you get an aftermarket exhaust it will be louder than the stock. |
TCS is pretty darn quiet.... |
Ok cool I am really considering the MagnaFlow Exhaust .. The shop I have hook ups with is just a normal Shop you think they have way to get this Exhaust system ??? Anyways for you guys with the MagnaFlow Exhaust Did you guys feel an increase in power ??? Thanx |
I highly reccomend the Magnaflow. It's really quiet, and yes I can feel a little bit of difference in power(unbelievably) |
<< I second that, MagnaFlow=QUIET! ... Greddy=LOUD .... I know it's personal, but i think the sound of the exhaust is one of the most important parts! >> I havent tried out the magna flow exhuast personally... but the Greddy SP mufler i am talking about is not that loud. Try asking some owners of the Greddy Trust SP exhuast, they will strongly recommend it. The LOUD greddy exhuast you must have in mind is the Greddy Evo. Those babies are loud... and quite annoying IMO. Greddy makes one of the highest quality aftermarket exhuast |
once you go JDM... u cant go wrong |
Hmmm so anything really quiet ??? even quieter then MagnaFlow ??? |
If you want something thats got a really low tone go with a brullen system, nice higher end system that wont make you go deaf. Personally I love the motorcycle like sound and am waiting for the tanabe racing medallion. My friend just put a brullen system on his 4 banger accord and it sounds real deep and sweet, not loud, just deep. Its got a lovely lil grumble. RF Bwoy |
