How will this setup look...

205/45/17 with Eibach Sportlines 1.4" drop....that's what I've narrowed my final selections down to...any opinions from the membas here are glady welcome...Thanx in advance...the reason I'm not canning it with coilovers and koni's is because I can't afford it right now and that little of a drop won't hurt my stock shocks...but who knows what the future has in-store...

Look good in my oppinion. You'll get rid off the gap which IMO is what's important

get 205/40's with sportlines

1.4 drop only
man i bet people will think ur car aint even lowered
if i were u just save ur spring money and just get the rims for now
cause u will still have a big wheel gap with only a 1.4 drop u know how little affect that will look on ur car
1.4 is what like 2 fingers and ur stock height is around like 8 fingers
even if u lowered it half the stock height ur car will not look as clean
i have on my car around 3 finger gap which is still high on my car one person didnt even think my car was lowered even with only 3 finger gaps
and ur car will have probably 6 finger gaps
im telling u
u will regret it save the spring money

actually once they settle the drop will be around 1.8" - 2"...and my car stock only hase about 5 finger gap..not 8...maybe your car had a default!

205-45 sounds good, bigger sidewall, less chance of blowin a tire

cvc2k2 04-04-2002 11:35 AM

exactly.... 205/45/17 is a good tire size for our 7th gen civics. the 205/45/17 is the Honda Dealer recommended size..... you can go 205/40/17 and prolly find it cheaper due to the demand on 17" wheels on previous integras and civics.

You must have really skinny fingers or are measuring something besides the visible wheel to fender lip gap.

I only put on Pro Kit and dropped and inch and you can tell the difference just by standing next to the car and looking over the top.

From what I hear 3 inches is totally slammed and almost impossible to drive in certain places, especially with a cat back, etc.
