Tires

I'm looking at the Velox VX-8's in 18" x 7.5, and I was wondering what tires I should get with these, since it's not a wheel/tire combination.

I have Toyo Proxes FZ4'S ($600) 215/35/18 wrapped around my Focal F5's and
they have been great so far. The best way to describe them is: good road=good ride, bad road=bad ride. I have seen 215/40/18's on a 2k2 civic but be careful if you
are going to use lowering springs (not coilovers). The gap between the well and the tire is really small, a little too small for me. Thats why I stuck with the 35 series. Good Luck:tup:

I was told that as long as you don't drop it more than 1.5", 215/40/18s are ok for clearance.
I've got the Eibach Pro-Kit and am going to go with the 40 series.
Hey, CivicRookie, were did you get your Toyos?

the 40 series are ok for clearance but the gap is so small its scary, you'll see. just watch it if those springs start
to sag.

I got my toyo's from this guy I met through e-bay. He had the rims I wanted up for auction but they
were the wrong bolt pattern so I hit him up and he went and found my Focal's and got me the rims w/ toyos for $1200.
808caraudio.com-I don't know anything about links.

I would just make sure you plan on lowering you car soon if you go with 35's. There is A LOT of wheel gap in the rear if you dont!

so with 18x7.5 go with 215/40??
