I was wondering if anyone had a problem placing the sensor into the pipe right above the trottle body?????? I had to grid and grid and then had to put gasket maker in to ensure it stuck. Just wondering if I was the only one with the problem.

I didn't have any problems with that.

are you sure that u took the sensor out of the airbox; som1 left it out and just stuck the connector through the red gasket and then complained he had the check engine light on

lol Jeff, I remember that.....almost made the same mistake myself!!
I didn't have any problems with the sensor. I stuck the red rubber hose into the hole first, then I worked the sensor into the hose and voila!!
It's been there ever since.

I followed the instructions..........Its just the hole that the sensor is supposed to go in was to tight for the sensor. THe hose between the pipe and the valve cover, everything fit great there.

I heard that the Injen CAI is the only one that will fit Automatic Transmissions. Is this true?

Hey
I had no problems there. But getting that tube through the fender w/o cutting the fender (plastic part itself) was a pain in the . It got a little scratched up. But it works fine now.

The only problem I had was the hole in the pipe wasn't completely centered inside of it. I had to put the sensor in at an angle to make it actually reach into the intake pipe. That was it though.
