Best Sounding Exhaust

I already order the Dc Sports TCS exhaust. But I was wondering what was the best sound exhaust on our civics because I know the best looking is the TCS hands down but I was wondering which exhaust had the best over all sound.

thats all up to you...

carbonfiber 03-30-2002 12:00 AM

ok, you want the best sounding in quietness or loudness? (we don't read minds)...

SilverCivic2K1 03-30-2002 12:06 AM

I want it reallll deep and loud...not like a muscle car(transam, mustang, or even chevy and ford trucks), and not like a weedeater or other grass cutting device sound...I dont know how to find out the sound of the exhaust before purchasing.

cvc2k2 03-30-2002 12:20 AM

i personally like the GReddy SP Exhuast systems... but unfortunately... they do not make it for our cars... i find the Greddy SP systems are nice and quiet... yet high performance.

I currently have the Greddy EVO in my 99EX, I did all the research and believe it's got the biggest pipe compare to the others, and they're street legal(make sure you get a certificate when you purchase one from a dealer, comes handy when you get pull over), and if you want loudness, get that one, I recommended, and a lot of Pros recommend it too... or get the DC TCS if you want quiet...

CivicPro01 03-30-2002 12:32 AM

I was thinking of an exhaust like a very deep and kind of loud and wahtch the attitude carbonfiber(remember you are only a little tiny junior member)

CivicPro01 03-30-2002 12:34 AM

I already have the TCS read the first post carbonfiber and the EVO hangs way too close to the ground

CivicPro01 03-30-2002 12:35 AM

oh yeah carbonfiber do you have a 99 civic or what?

<< wahtch the attitude carbonfiber(remember you are only a little tiny junior member) >>

what attitude?? cool it dude, you're getting a little flame happy here on the junior member. it's been discussed too many times before that junior member doesn't necessarily mean ignorant, doesn't know a thing member. easy on the flames, seriously.

personally i like the TCS the best. when i heard them, i thought the two best were GReddy EVO and DC Sports TCS, but it comes down to looks, and the TCS just looks the best too.

Shaitan 03-30-2002 11:07 AM

Yeah, the TCS is the best looking exhause, I just installed mine 2 days ago. It is reeeaaallly deep sounding and is reasonably loud, but not annoyingly loud.

" wahtch the attitude carbonfiber(remember you are only a little tiny junior member) "

He was right. You never stated any preference for type of sound. Little Senior member. :):)

RedDragon333 03-30-2002 02:01 PM

I think the Greddy EVO or the Tanabe RM sound the best as far as looks go i like the Tanabe it has the straightest piping after the cat and thats what you want

bo0sT 03-30-2002 03:06 PM

i have the magnaflow, but i'm waiting patiently for the greddy evo... you can't be greddy for performance in my opinion.. and the sound is nice and deep. the magnaflow i have now sounds good.. and i just took the resonater off.. a little loud inside, but i like that.. some don't. as for the tcs from DC.. it looks pretty... but you aren't getting much for performance out of it.. not from what i've seen and heard. i sold like 6 of those and 4 of my customers are dissapointed. they like the sound though

ELTsanwich 03-30-2002 03:33 PM

my magnaflow race divison sounds nice, dont get the street series sounds like autzone flying down the street

icey 03-30-2002 03:57 PM
