horns im planning on replacing a horn. does anyone know of a good loud non-pussy sounding horn? and like how much are they? |
LMAO, hell yeah dude! Seriously, from what I've heard Honda's have weak horns. They sound like the clown cars or something, esp. my buddy's 94 Civic. My mom's 325ci horn is nice though, loud and deep. |
i want a horn that sounds like someone ripped a HUGE fart.. that would cause some major confusion |
JC WHITNEY AUTO PARTS i bought a loud "semi-truck" horn for my old car for aobut 60 dollars 3 different size horns and different options.. they run around 50-100 bucks |
Just go down to autozone/checker/pepboys etc and grab one of their $12 ones. I replaced mine and it sounds like a normal car. |
freeway blaster horn... lo and hi tones |
Pepboys had a FIAMM freeway blaster 132 Db horn for maybe 10 bux... Easy to install...Took 10 min...If u've taken the bumper off to clear headlights...its a breeze! |
no pepboys down here:cry: |
Maybe they got some of them horns down at the Walmart. I gotta check that out. No Pep Boys around here either. |
How does the Freeway blaster sound? |
You can try horns of the following: 1. Hella 2. Fiam 3. Bosch They do produce LOUD horns! |
now i just gatta find a place that sells them |
check my review of the FIAMM Freeway Blaster 132dB Low-note horn i love it...my baby sounds like she has a REAL horn now:) |
Guys, don't cheap out like I did and get the 125db FIAMM horn ($26 Cdn). Its much better than stock but is also wimpy. Definately get at least the 132db Freeway blaster model. Was $10 Cdn difference in price. I heard you guys get them as cheap as $6 USD. |
