Heat resistant paint for intake? Anyone know if there is a type of paint that I can use on my intake to keep more heat out? Thanks! |

I asked a similer q. this week.... about thermotech exhuast and header wrap.. supposed to decrease engine bay heat by 70%... anywaz.. .its good up to 2000 degrees or somethin.. so as long as the air thorugh the intake isnt that hot... [shrug] I guess you could wrap the inside or outside with the tape and shove something through the intake to make sure its all stuck to the sides... |
P.S. I know it will look ugly... but I'm not showin off my fancy highpowered sohc engine to anyone.... |
