anyone with neuspeed sprt springs......

is a camber kit recommended for these springs?

SiRacer 02-19-2002 11:15 AM

a camber kit is recommended for any lowering springs i believe
however, my friend has these on his civic and no camber kit with 17" tantrums and no problems as of yet
i think he has had them since Sept/Oct something like that.
So if you don't have the money, i would say you would be ok
hope this helps a little

do u bottom out ur car alot??? is that a major prob.?

Like anyone with a lowered car. . If you drive like an idiot, or if you fly over speed bumps, you're going to bottom out. Just slow down when you are going through a intersection, cuase those never seem to be even and go really slow, or avoid speed bumps all together. Some speed bumps will bottom you out no matter what.. If you have to go over a speed bump, take it sideways or something. . heh. Oh. . and Neuspeed springs especially the racing ones will lower your car quite a bit. So I wouldn't do a body kit, if you are worried about bottoming out cause that's just going to put you lower. Also Camber kits aren't that expensive and are worth it because it's like insurance, you probably don't need it, but just in case. It's good to have perfect camber. Perfection is niiiice.. I'm going to get Neuspeed because I like the ride height, but I'm also buying a camber kit, because I plan on spending big bucks on struts, wheels, and tires. . And I don't want those taking a crap on me prematurley, and with +- camber that risk exists. It probably wont cause a instant problem, but will definately reduce the longivity of your tires. Now. . this isn't true if you rotate the tires like every month. Then they'll wear even, but will still wear faster. I hope this helps at least a little. If you want to know what the car looks like with Neuspeed sport springs check out pimpdakota's car. It looks smooth. Remember that height is the sport springs.. The racing ones are really low. Anyways. . Hope this helps, I'll c'ya around. . .
