I say that if you have the tools, like a good socket set, floor jacks, jack stands, spring compressor, and tie rod separator, GO FOR IT. If you send me your fax number I will copy the OEM instructions and send them to you! The OEM service manual is pretty detailed, so if you follow directions, and have the tools it will only take 2-4 hours. After that, remember the camber kits and a full alignment. I personally used the Eibach, since I also used the Sportline springs. I got the compressor and tie rod seperator at www.mytools.com Tool Aid-Tie Rod Seperator #61900 at $13.50 (saves the grease boot from gettin torn by a pickle fork) Performance Tool-Strut Spring Compressor #W89322 at $44.95 (keeps the spring from killing you when you disassemble the strut) |
You ROCK!! Thanks for the help man! my fax is 1.604.504.5318. I thought it would take longer..cool. I'll let you know how it goes when I do it.. |
Can you e-mail me the instructions or do you have to fax them? I have a faz machine, but I don't have a line dedicated to it. |
