I wonder what the specs on the piping is. It better be bigger then the DC header. Any word on how much.

black2k1vtec 01-20-2002 05:02 PM

Sweet!! Ya give em the finger!!!!!!!

2Hondaz 01-20-2002 05:10 PM

Oh F@#K yeah!!!!!!!! Now I can do away with the POS header on my LX without having to have custom piping done for a high flow cat!!!!! I'm going to slap that puppy on and bolt a Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust up to it and be done with it!!!! W00T!!

CivicVTec 01-20-2002 06:24 PM

here is a better pic

I wanna give the CARB the finger.

LexBoy 01-20-2002 07:53 PM

looks ok it better be worth it

01civicboi 01-20-2002 08:53 PM

sounds good to me:tup: are HP products reliable?

SneakerPimp 01-20-2002 08:56 PM

looks good

nookiemonster 01-20-2002 09:17 PM

My question is would that be worth it to use with the DC TCS, since the TCS retains more backpressure and has less flow than say, a Tanabe Race Medallion?

Hefe 01-20-2002 09:42 PM

/me drools!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want I want

Booohahaha 01-20-2002 11:13 PM

looks very nice but what are the numbers being pumped out???

CivicVTec 01-20-2002 11:50 PM

sorry guys...i dunno anything about the numbers yet...because that's all the mag. told me so we all have to wait and see

Unleaded 01-21-2002 12:16 AM

looks good, but i'd prefer a 4-2-1 version.

insan 01-21-2002 09:04 AM

i'm getting one first chance i get

1028CiViC 01-21-2002 09:26 AM

does it fit lx?

CivicVTec 01-21-2002 10:11 AM

they never said "it can't" but they never said "it will" either...sorry

Derek-CEO 01-21-2002 11:44 AM

it will "fit" LX, but with modifications. Our cat is on the exhaust manifold, not under the car like EX. You will also need to move the sensors.

CivicVTec 01-21-2002 02:14 PM

thanks D...:)

GhettoCivic 01-21-2002 02:51 PM

- If this full-length header replaces the whole thing, why wouldn't this header + a full EX exhaust system (like the DC Sports TCS or the Greddy EVO) fit perfectly?

Hefe 01-21-2002 03:11 PM

Yeah but look at the pic........
Its got a hole in the top of the header for the sensors, looks-to-be for the LX!!!!

Amphiprion 01-23-2002 10:05 PM

I called HP and they gave me the number of the dealers in my area code........got a price quote for $249.00. I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

emmagatorone 01-23-2002 10:22 PM

That sounds cheaper than the DC header! The stainless that is.... Keep us posted!

black 01-23-2002 10:55 PM

A to this thread!!

nongv 01-23-2002 11:13 PM

is it carb legal for the people in ca?

SuperCivic2k1 01-28-2002 05:15 PM

looks pretty tight..but is the DC sport better or worser?

CarbonFiberSi 01-28-2002 08:29 PM

The DC header is only the top half of the header so it will get restrictive when it hits the stock part. This one being
full length should give some noticeable gains.
