Ventgaurds for the coupe?

Anyone know where to get them or if they are out yet?

Bartkat 01-20-2002 07:06 AM

What are ventguards?

Hondasport01 01-20-2002 07:32 AM

Yeah, I've got them. they are $35 and ventshade carries them. You can order ventshade at almost any autoparts store.

Bartkat 01-20-2002 07:36 AM

You mean those plastic thingies that go above the side windows?

Hondasport01 01-20-2002 08:30 AM

yea, they arent the coolest thing out but they DO work. Cut down on wind noise, and keep rain out if you crack the windows.

Bartkat 01-20-2002 08:34 AM

Sounds good. I can't drive whith window down at all without getting lots of wind.

Zolutar 01-20-2002 09:57 AM

anyone got a part # for the ventshades for the coupe?

Grey 01-20-2002 12:56 PM

I don't get why you would drive with the windows down at all? That is unless you have a DX or HX with no A/C and it's hella hot. Maybe busted turn signals qualifies too. Other than that keep 'em up!

There are zilliong of reasons to drive sometimes with the window down.

1. To get a better look at chicks.

2. To get some cold air in the face to wake up.

3. To look at street signs you can't see at night through the tint.

4. To get a tan on your left arm.

5. To spit tobaccy juice out the window.

6. To hurl if you are sick.

7. To listen to the wonderful sound of your exhaust.

8. To let your dog stick his head out the window.

Just to touch on the surface. I'm sure others can add to the list.

Hum.. I guess. The only time I roll my windows down is when I'm stuck in traffic and the radio is boring, so I want to listen to the noise outside. Then again, drivethrough windows require rolling your windows down too. No driving with the windows down for me though, especially at high speeds.

black2k1vtec 01-20-2002 01:41 PM

I always have my window cracked, its like a truck driver thing or something, it will make me deaf in my left ear by the time im old I bet. Im such a loser.:susp:

Bartkat 01-20-2002 01:50 PM

I'd put the dog in the back seat, but I've tried like hell and I can't get the back windows on the coupe to roll down. Besides, the dog has goggles for high speeds.

i've always thought of those things as ugly. but then putting them on a civic makes me want to

FiresVTEC 01-21-2002 02:42 PM

those are some great reasons bartkat...

i have the ventshades on my coupe as well, i like them most because i like to have the windows down when its raining. although you cant have the windows down any lower than an inch and a half or so otherwise the rain gets in. but i like them, i think i paid $45 or so for them.

Happens to me all the time. When I see a guy in a pickup truck and wearing a camo cap roll down his window, I stay back.
