Need to know - how many want a turbo?? Hey everyone. I'm trying to get this guy to convince his boss (the company he works for makes turbo manifolds and turbo related stuff) to make a turbo kit for our 7th gen civics. I just need to know how many people would be in for it before i can actually start getting serious in the negotiations. Price would be the typical turbo kit $2k-$3k, maybe $3500, depending on how complete the kit is. It would include a "57 trim t3/t04e witht the new 4 bolt downpipe flange" and forged stainless steel manifold (won't crack) with 1/2" flanges. Everybody who is definately going to buy one (even if money is tight now but you can see yourself buying one in the next six months), just leave a post saying you would and your name and e-mail address. I would like to see if we can find lots of buyers - that way we would be able to get a better deal (more people - first time the product is being offered = less cash spent). Thanks everyone. |

i want a turbo!!but no $ keke |
im in when ever it comes out im going to buy it........... |
Ok, well, according to my contact, the kit should be ready within around a month. It will be very similiar to the HKS kit - if you guys want an intercooler, it will cost about $1000 more, but I think that for a daily driven D-block, the non-intercooled system may be good enough. Non-intercooled, I was told we can run 5.9 PSI of boost with no problems and a long engine life expectancy, while intercooled, you can run 8 PSI but the problem is, there is nowhere to mount an intercooler in our cars. The kit will include wastegate, turbo, blow-off valve, piping, exhaust manifold, and all necessary connectors and fittings. |
Hmmm, I dont know |
I'm down, but what about the fuel enrichment problem? That is why there are no "major" companies making one yet. Chris |
