18s!!!

antidote11 01-07-2002 05:40 PM

Yeh, get the eighteens, so I can smoke yo' ass when I roll up next to you in some light weight 15". : )
No, really, 18's are heavy as sh*it.........go for the 17's.

Jc20unc 01-07-2002 05:46 PM

17's...18s will slow you down too much...unless your going for straight looks

Khaos3001 01-07-2002 06:58 PM

Or just go with 16s and feel no difference in acceleration...

Blv 01-07-2002 07:52 PM

go for lightweight 17 that's lighter than stock rims (some examples: NT-03, TE37, SE37)

by the way, discount tire is having a special on Enkei NT-03

16" Performance
17" Looks & Performance
18" Looks

You Decide !!!

I'm gettin some 17"s, but i'm buying some 13"s off of my friends kia for the front end as my track tires. They are light as hell!

1973 01-07-2002 08:15 PM

you are probobly going to get 45 or lower series tires......17 & 18's warp like crazy if you hit those nasty potholes that seem to be everywere, make sure their well made...........get 15's or 16's-much better performance, you will leave the line like a slug with 18's....(17's are'nt much better)......
