Vafc II

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if there is anyone here with an Apexi VAFC II. If so, where did you have it mounted. I don't want to have it up on the dash so someone thinks its some fancy car stereo thing and steals it. Also, would you mind posting pics if you have them? Thanks!

my friend has his in the little compartment under the radio..he also has velcro on that part to mount it and then take it off and slide it into the compartment

so it's lightweight enough to be held up by velcro? I though about doing that but what happens if I replace my CD player. Will that mess everything up? I thought about putting it just above the cupholders, next to the outlet. What do you think?

thatd be tight...when he put it there it stayed there...i mean it doesnt get in the way of your cd player at all..he just wnated it to be there so it was in site when he wanted to look at it..and it was also easy to put away

mines sit in the cluster area with the speedometer thing and gas guages...the holder thing folds up and down so when u need it fold it up and when u dont fold it down

Mine is in the glove box mounted at the center. Looks nice, but doesn't match my dash at all so I keep it hidden mostly.

im getting one soon

okay. so you guys have it in such a way that you can move it around inside your car? thats cool. I thought that it actually had to be mounted somewhere. is it very big? from what I see in the pictures it looks pretty big.

it's really nice and shows lots of engine info. I actually like the display of the safcII better and wish I had gotten that one. It's dangerous to change the vtec engagement, so I don't even use that feature on mine.
