2007 Civic P0455/P2646 Hey All, So I originally had the P0455 code (EVAP Leak) come on a couple months ago. I researched and replaced the fuel cap on the car and the light came off for a while but now is back on and off sporadically. Additionally today I noticed my oil light come on for a split second while making turn but turn off. While driving home today the check engine light was off and suddenly came on and at the same time went into what I assume is limp mode, would not go above 18MPH. I was right down the road from the auto store so I had them throw the scanner on and ended up getting the following codes. P0455 P2646 Also the past couple days I have felt the car slightly bucking when driving that I attributed to possibly ice or snow in the roads, nothing huge but noticeable. At this point what could be the problem or my best course of action on how to handle this issue? Thanks! -Sam |

You might want to check your oil level, sounds like it might be pretty empty |
Re: 2007 Civic P0455/P2646 As long as you haven't been constantly running the car low on oil it will probably be ok. Check the engine bay for leaks, above and below. Whats the mileage on the car? You may want to start changing your oil sooner. You should probably start checking your oil every 1000 miles or so |

The car is at 10% oil life right now and I am getting it done today and see how the car responds. |
