2007 Honda Civic noise, any ideas?

This video shows the sound my 2007 Honda Civic (automatic transmission) makes when in reverse. It was initially making the noise randomly while driving normally, then started making this noise. I put it in reverse to turn around and go home and it started making the noise only when in reverse. Now I can only get it to start making the noise after reversing and swerving back and forth a bit. The change in noise you hear at around 14 seconds is from applying the breaks. I have only driven it the distance you see in the video since it started making the noise this loud. Also, it only makes the noise while in motion. Any thoughts?

Sorry but that is incorrect. I know what the normal sound is when reversing and the noise in the video is not it. In parts of the video you can actually hear the normal reverse noise from when I accelerated enough, with the abnormal noise even louder. This abnormal noise just started this week.

Thanks for the input though.

I want to clarify that this noise is not normal.

I would also like to clarify that when it first started making this noise, I was driving forwards. I then put it in reverse to take the car home and that's when it started to only make this noise in reverse.

Sounds like the wear indicator squealer.
That means there is only about 1mm of brake pas material remaining, or less.

Time for a brake job. ASAP.

Stick your head out the window and figure out if the noise comes from the front or the rear.
