Good suspension for sale

Hey guys. I had one post here about all the things I was welling off of my civic when I wold it and I still have 3 Items left. I wanted to start another thread because it was 5 pages and really old. Here is the old one.

https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...ood-stuff.html

First thing I still have is a Progress 22mm rear sway bar and subframe brace. I have all the bolts and spacers required to put it in I just didn't have them in the pucture. I painted the bar abd the brace black because I really liked no one knowing that it was there. $100+shipping

Next we have the hotchkis competition sway bars. These are an awsome set. I loved having these on my car. 25MM front and 27mm rear bar. Both have 2 sets of holes so that makes 3 levels of adjustment each. Comes with hardware and endlinks but you will probably have to put new nuts on the endlinks because the nylon got jamed in the nut while taking them off the car. They still work they are just hard to move. $200+ shipping

https://www.civicforums.com/forums/h.../5/8/8/adj.jpg

Lastly we have the coilovers I had on my car. The front has koni yellows with the housings. 440lbs ground controls and ground control camber plates. I was able to get -2.5 degrees of camber out of these. The rear is RSX koni yellows with 550lbs springs. With these coilovers and the hotchkis bars my car handles very well. I have had 2 national solo champs tell me how well my car handles with these. Awsome stuff. Smooth yet can perform amazing. $800+ shipping. All 4 shocks are in great condition. Adjustment works and they are not blown, and not leacked at all.

Thanks for looking. I really need the money to help pay for the Ohlins I am putting on my miata in a month. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Re: Good suspension for sale

Do the coilovers fit 03-05 civics?

zps2004 07-02-2008 08:25 PM

Re: Good suspension for sale

I just realized how I forgot to mention that. The coilovers will fit a the earlier 7th gens 01-03 i believe it is. I am sure you could probably drill the mounting holes larger for them to fit but I am not sure.

its actually jsut for the 01-02 because they are 14mm bolts vs the 16mm bolts o n the 03-05

judging by ur pix, im not sure if you have a 01-02 or the 03.

Re: Good suspension for sale

I thought the first year of the facelift was 2004 and that was when they put in the 16mm bolts. I had a 2002.

Re: Good suspension for sale

not trying to be an ******* but u may want to reconsider the pricing on the coilovers.. $800 +SHIPPING?? at that price some one can opt for a brand new set of Tein Basics or even Koni Yellows with GC coilovers

zps2004 07-04-2008 06:40 PM

Re: Good suspension for sale

I don't see it that way. I sold my old K-sports for 600 and they were junk. Also tiens are ok, not compairable to these IMO. I also have the camber plates and housings for the front shocks.

Re: Good suspension for sale

are you willing to part out the camber plates? $100 shipped?

Re: Good suspension for sale

I would really prefer not to but I might soon since no one wants to by my good stuff.

I am assuming you want all 4 GC coils?

If so, I will take the front shocks/struts and camber plates with no GC coils.

Re: Good suspension for sale

Well that sounds like a good deal for all.

how about $275+shipping and paypal fees for the front shocks, housings and camber plates for robbclark1, and $450+shipping and paypalfees for the rear konis and all ground controls for redem2? Let me know what you think. Who gets the top bearing though?

I don't need the bearing, I have GCs already. The plate will work with an 01 bearing correct? Also they have 14 mm bolt holes correct?

That is assuming he wants all 4 GCs because if not, you will be left just with front GCs. Let's see what he has to say and go from there. I always just wanted the front ones but couldn't justify buying the whole set.

Re: Good suspension for sale

Yea the plates will work with the 01 bearing. That is what I had on there. I origionally ordered a 02 bearing and it was about twice the size. Yes they have14mm bolts and they are slotted just a tad :)

Re: Good suspension for sale

Good question, camber plates for 150+shipping and fees?

robbclark1 07-25-2008 10:58 AM

Re: Good suspension for sale

That's a little more than I wanted to spend. That would mean that you would charge only $125 the front shocks/struts, if I bought them together.

zps2004 07-25-2008 04:22 PM

Re: Good suspension for sale

True, I just thought about how they are 240 new. So how about 130 shipped+fees?
