gearbox 09-16-2005 08:47 PM

pics of cd changers. so they will plug directly to alpine deck with ai-net correct?

gearbox 09-16-2005 08:50 PM

i see first is ainet and second is m-bus. How much does the first one weigh please :)

draganjr 09-17-2005 09:33 PM

Hey gearbox.
The first cd changer does hook directly to a Alpine unit that has AINET.
The weight of the cd changer is not very much, maybe 1 lbs to 2 lbs.
I am in the middle of moving and I will take pics first then!

gearbox 09-17-2005 10:12 PM

still interested. i want it just for the 6 disc so I don't have to carry tons of cds around haha. I'll prolly just mount it below the trunk deck. Is there anything special about it like easy to hook up? Is it just the ainet cable or do I need to run all kinds of wires again through the car? Where did you mount yours? Thanks :)

draganjr 09-18-2005 01:00 AM

this one is new, i have not used the AINET one. the insurance company installed it and then i took it out. the other cd changer i just hooked it up running one wire to the head unit and i placed it under the drivers seat. no one can see it. i placed it in one of those black cases for cd changers, i will include that with the cd changer if you buy it! The AINET is the same way, run one wire! wire is really long so you can mount it anywhere. under the seat was the best spot for it i thought.
i will take pics tomorrow!

gearbox 09-18-2005 07:56 AM

sweet thanks! I'll take it once you post the pics.
