Pioneer P4900IB Dock 98 Civic
 

Looking for some guidance, just bouht this 98 civic yesterday, unfortunately it got broken into and the dock was jacked. Tryin to install this one now, not sure how to go about the wiring. Can anyone who knows there stuff point me in the right direction?

I rather figure out how to do it myself then give it to a shop. Here are some pics.

Obviously Im aware that its color coded and you need to match the colors, however, in the last pic the wires connect to what i think is the power and from the power the wires continue into those white tubes you see behind the main power hub. Im not quite sure where exactly I connect the pioneer wires too. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would need to see the end of the harness to give better instructions. Looks like a couple of wires are missing.
If I had to guess, the wires in the white casing are speaker wires from the amp to the harness. It looks like outdoor wiring.
In the acutal harness, there should be 4 sets of speaker wires, (purple, grey, green and white) Then there should be a Yellow (constant), Orange (illumination) Blue (antenna) red (switched) and Black (ground). There could be others depending on the harness.
If all wires are there, then you just match the colors and stripes to the harness on the deck.
Some will tell you to wire the ground to the chasis, others to the ground in the harness. I use the harness and test for altenator noise before completion of installation.
You won't use the speaker wires off the deck if there is an amp ( I assume there are 2 amps or a 5 channel amp based on the 3 RCAs) Just clip them at the ends and tape up.
If the wire in the white sleeves is speaker wire, then you will need to trace it back to the amp to see which is left, right, front, and rear.
Make sure yours is not one of the years to not hook up the illumination wire. Some of the early 2000s will blow out the dimmer on the dash.
