a/c not working 2006 Civic As we are finally getting some hot days in Vancouver I need a/c working again. I've owned this car for a year and there was never need to use A/C, probably it wasn't working for all this time. Here is what i tried to investigate so far: - Fuses #20 under-hood and #36 inside are fine, rearranged and checked all relays too. - A/C works only if you pull out clutch relay and jumper outputs. Not super cold but cold air blows as well. Thermal protector should be good at this point. - Checked a/c line pressure relieve valve, there is pressure. - A/C pressure sensor has output of 1.45V which confirms that there is freon in the system. What would be the next step to check in this car? |
Re: a/c not working 2006 Civic A/C works only if you pull out clutch relay and jumper outputs. If they do: Use a test light or voltmeter to see if the other two terminals have power and ground. (i.e. is the relay getting actuated or not?) We have plenty of issues with that clutch relay. |
