does anyone know how to replace the rear 6x9 speakers in the civic lx sedan 1997?

i saw that link before but how do you remove the speaker covers without breaking them?

Do you mean breaking the tabs? Mine I just broke when I took them out not knowing, but they still stay in nicely so I didn't really care. As far as removing my speakers, since they were the stock ones, I didn't care if they were damaged so I took a dremel with a cutting wheel to the screws on the underside in the trunk. Tricky business and rather dangerous with all those sparks flying everywhere. :eek:
