No power to stereo. Please advice! Hello guys! This is the first time that I try to fit an aftermarket stereo headunit into my Y-reg Honda Civic 1.6 SE EX. What happened is that after I fitted my new Kenwood DNX5220, it does not power up. At first, I thought the new head unit might be faulty. So I plugged in the old Honda Civic manufactory stereo, and still got no power. Hence I think I might have had some fuse blown while fitting the unit. I have checked both the underdash fuses and underbonet fuses with a multimeter, and non of them is blowed. All the electrics are working in the car, except the remote centre locking, which works before I fit the new unit in. Does anyone here know what could possibly go wrong in my car? I now have a brand new DNX5220 fitted that does not switch on, and also lost power to activate the remote centre locking. I would really appreciate any advice given as I do not want to send it to a dealer which is surely gonna cost a fortune. Thanks in advanced! |
