Mounting Sub Box I did a search, and was unsuccessful finding some information on this. but currently my subwoofer box is free to slide aroundmy trunk during corners, speed bumps, etc., and i'm wondering how i can mount this box so it won't slide around. From what i understand i can cutout an exact (or close to it) shape of my trunk floor with plywood and lay that down and bolt my box to the plywood. Anybody have any experience doing this? or if this way is not possible, what are some alternate ways? thanks, and sorry if it's been covered already. |
Re: Mounting Sub Box usually i just slam 4 screws straight into the trunk floor, but... you have to look under the car and see where the fuel tank is located and make sure you dont hit an existing harness if there is one. Then youll never have it slide again....:giggle: |
Re: Mounting Sub Box I used two lock d-rings and tied mine to my rear strut bar. The bar may not do anything for the handling of the car, but it sure holds my subs in place! |
Re: Mounting Sub Box 1 Attachment(s) i used 2 hinges to mount mine to the car's frame behind the seats. i have a single 12. https://www.civicforums.com/forums/a...1&d=1192369136 |
