Plasti Dipping rims I just purchased a 98 civic lx in great shape from an older woman. i would like to learn how to customize a few things, but i know nothing about cars. i have the original stock rims on the car but i would like to change the color to either black or white. I need advice, i have heard about ppl saying to plasti dip my hubcabs and that i can do it myself. any thoughts on that or tips.:help: Ordo they sell white or black hubcaps i really dont want to buy rims right now as i live in ny and we have bad winters. Any advice is appreciated. Also, i have a red car, would white or black hubcaps look better on my car:confused: Thanks--- J |
Re: Plasti Dipping rims 1 Attachment(s) I don't foresee plastidip lasting long on hubcaps unless you use a good hard clearcoat. At that point, you'd probably be better of just painting them. Just my opinion.
