Swapping Wheels on a 08 Civic Coupe
 

My daughter just got 2008 Civic Coupe EX-L. It has the 16" OEM rims with fairly new tires. On the highway, the back of the car car tends to want to slightly pitch back and forth. I'm thinking about swapping out the 16 wheels for the 17 Si wheels, in an attempt to shorten up the tire side wall and hopefully reduce this back and forth pitching. I'm considering replacing the 16" OEM wheels with 17" Si OEM wheels. Is it a straight swap to replace the 16" OEM wheels with the Si 17" OEM wheels?

Yes it is a straight swap.

Don't think that is your issue though. The tires should be plenty stiff. Has it ever been aligned?
