Are these OEM lug nuts? Stripped Wheel Stud/Lug Nut After using air power tools, I stripped my wheel stud and the lug nut. I'll be replacing that tomorrow, I bought the new wheel stud and a lug nut but it's not OEM. It clashes with the other lug nuts. Now on the drivers front rim I'll have 2 OEM's and 2 Non-OEM. It doesn't look right honestly. So I'm looking at buying the OEM ones. All 4 of my rims have 1 lug nut that is not OEM. So after today I'll be buying 5, adding 1 more to replace the one that was stripped. My rims are these: http://www.automotix.net/images/prod.../aly63868u.jpg So are these the ones I need? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A3BBGQF3LT7QDY ^^^ |
Re: Are these OEM lug nuts? Stripped Wheel Stud/Lug Nut I don't see the exact specifications for those lug nuts in the link, maybe I'm blind. You need M12x1.5 ball seat lug nuts. |
Re: Are these OEM lug nuts? Stripped Wheel Stud/Lug Nut you didn't use air tools to tighten 'em down did you? To me, and prolly many others on the site, that's not a very good thing to do.. For future reference... I take a torque wrench to my lug nuts and eye tires shops like a hawk when they go to put my rims back on. |
