15's or 16's
 

I have finally found some wheels that I like for my 03 ex coupe. The problem is that I can't wait. Heres the deal. I like the Enkei FD-05's , http://enkei.com/fd05.html and was planning on getting the machined/gun metal 16's and ordered them. after a few days, find out they are on back order with no ETA, so I called around to all those online tire places and was given several stories from back order to discontinued. I decided to call enkei directly and found that the ones I ordered wont be available for a couple of months, but they had some 16's that are machined/black that they could send to a dealer in my area. Great.

I had one supplier that had 1 set of 15's that are gunmetal and that was the last set.

I need to make a decision. 15's machined/gun metal or 16's machined/black

These are going on an 03 ex coupe that is curently silver but am strongly considring painting black or blue. Which color would look best. Settle for the 15's or go with the 16's

get the gun metal it just looks better. Im lookin for rims right now also and it takes forever.

Im thinkin i might just get those same exact rims for my car :) I really like them. how much where they? i didnt see a price

here's the update. The gun metal 16's and 17's are all out all over and since I got several different answers from different shops, I decided to call Enkei. I spoke to KING - he was awesome. I explained all the trouble I was having finding these wheels and he informed me that he had nothing on order from the factory for the gun metal for at least a couple of months. So I asked about the machined/Black in 16's he was about to send out his last pallet to a shop in Michigan, but would give me a set off that shipment and send it to the dealer here in florida for me.

I saved over $100.00 going to the source over all the net guys.

so machined/black 16's it is.

They will be here by thurs/fri. Just got lip kit and looking at paint now.

I was thinking of blue

so these wheels with blue paint. "pretty blue"

I think it's good that you finally tracked down the kind of wheels you were after. I just went through a similar experience (with two manufacturers who had the same design, and both were off the market)! Apparently mine are also on the way, but I'll believe it when I have them... :screwy:

damn thats pretty awesome. ill make sure to call the manufacturer when i buy my rims so i can get them cheaper
