Re: lug nut specs???? are they the same as 7th gens? I can measure mine, you dont have any old ones to compare them to? |
Re: lug nut specs???? yes i do but i need to know the thread and everything to order new ones online. i guess i will just have to go to the parts store and thread it onto a bolt to find out. |
Re: lug nut specs???? yeah its same for all civics excluding 2006+ models, M12xP1.5 and you torque them 80 ft/lbs. |

Re: lug nut specs???? which lug nuts can i use on aftermarket wheels, for example rota gt3. Because i read somewhere oem lugs will fit but not properly with aftermarket wheels |
Re: lug nut specs???? any aftermarket lug nuts will work, just dont try to fit oem or it will ruin the hub. just get the right size of aftermarket, M12x1.5 also, aftermarket lug nuts cannot be used on oem wheels. its a different taper seat. there are all kinds of brands, muteki is cheap and lightweight, i like em. there are other expensive ones like rays, skunk2, etc. check passwordjdm.com for a bunch. |
Re: lug nut specs???? So I lost 2 lug nuts last night, I picked up two from wall-mart some guy fished them out of the bin, should I use them or not? I have Oem everything. |
Re: lug nut specs???? make sure they look the same as oem as far as the seating shape on the back. |
Re: lug nut specs???? just get tuner lugs at a shop thats what we call them in pa anyway. The shop will tell you what size you need. Then you just pick your color and thats it good luck hope all works out for ya. |
